Depends, they're incredibly similar in some ways, though Artemis breaks the law a lot more than Conan, which allows him to be slightly more immoral in his thinking, I s'pose...?
Both Artemis and Conan are probably genius's, but Artemis is probably slightly above Conan in that respect (though it could just be he was originally the more arrogant of them and showed his intelligence off more...) so~
Thing is, while Artemis can handle the crime solving aspect, he's much more used to the other side, so if it was... say, solving a murder as the 'battle' then Conan'd win hands down.
Basically, depends on the context, but more likely Artemis than Conan imo :x *shot*
