Don't really care on which side as long as it's a window seat, though if there is a stranger sitting next to me (usually sits next to nom) I prefer sitting far out

Because some people lean on the window, and in that case, leaning one way may be more comfortable than the other. For me, leaning to the left is more comfortable than leaning to the right.

There are probably other reasons too, but that's my reason.

I like window seats better, mainly so if I'm flying on my own I can have a wall to lean on to sleep on. Also, I like watching out of the window during takeoff and landing. I don't care which side it's on.

I prefer the left window seat because for some reason I feel the most comfortable there. Perhaps because that was usually where I sat when I was a child. In general I prefer to be in the left side of the plane for some reason.

I like window seats as well so I can lean and sleep if I need to. I don't really care which side although sometimes I look at the time of the flight to see where the sun is
