Several questions I had:

1. Does the gift has to be something original? I.e., would simply taking an image from the web be accepted as a gift?
2. Does the gift need to be specific to the person it is given to? So if, for example, someone writes a DCTP Short Story, could he also publish it as well?
3. If the answer to 2. was no, could several people work together to create a (major) gift, which they then give to several people?
4. What if someone fails to give a gift to the person assigned (I'm especially worried about the people with less than 100 posts (total) becoming inactive again)?

1. It doesn't have to be original, but it is always a nice detail. And yes.
2. Yes, as any regular gift that you'd give to someone And if the gift was a story I'd publish it eventually, or maybe I misunderstood you?
3. While that is a possibility, we recommend that you don't reveal your Secret Santa so as to keep it a surprise, but that bit is up to you.
4. EVERYONE will receive a gift, me and Jd- assure you that, so nothing to worry
