pretty interesting, however the video never demonstrates that it's sending the information somewhere other than your device or that it's stored for any period of time.

I mean sure, after Apple did a similar thing with their GPS tracking I wouldn't be surprised, but the biggest points of his video weren't even demonstrated.

It seems Apple stopped supporting Carrier IQ.

We stopped supporting Carrier IQ with iOS 5 in most of our products and will remove it completely in a future software update.
