How do you greet your comrades in your country?

If you have some randomness to share that you can't post elsewhere, this is the place to do it.

Hi, unless it's a first time meeting then a handshake is in order sometimes.

They do that in Germany? :o Not while I was there, thank god.

Where's the "punch them in the face" option?

About Germany, dunno in what parts of Germany you've been to, but I've never seen ANYONE kiss on the mouth as a way of greeting.

voted "hi", but if it's the first meeting and it's in a professional setting, a hand shake as well usually.

Kissing on the mouth as a way of greeting? Things have changed since I left Germany. :(
Anyway, just saying "hi", perhaps a handshake.

lol you must not have many friends if you greet them like that

I read it in a magazine, and they apparently do it in Russia too.

You asked how I greet my comrades in my country, but then you apply your logic and assume from that I don't have many friends. You are contradicting yourself.

But seriously, I just say "hi", if someone forwards their hand, then I guess I would shake their hand. I would never be the person to forward his hand first, though, since I'm not a fan of touching other people (unless they are girls, but that's beside the point)

If it's to my friends, I just say hi.
But if it's to someone older than me, I bow.

For germany:
Saying hi
Handshake
Kiss on the cheek (if closer)

The only time where you greet someone with a kiss on the mouth is:
- Lovers
- Girls with their best female friend.
- Familymembers (some families do)

But as a normal greeting, kiss on the mouth isn't a option :V

Personally, I also hug people for a greeting :D
