But at least your doctor doesn't accuse you of taking medicine behind their back. Every time I have a medical check-up that happens. One of the standard questions is if you take any medicine and I always answer no that since I don't take any. Then they take my blood pressure and ask: "Are you sure you aren't taking any blood pressure medicine?" And then I'll say "Yeah, I'm sure (duh)" and they'll retake my blood pressure "just in case", what that's supposed to mean, while they worry if I'll suddenly faint since my blood pressure is that low.

A friend studying med told me to stay away from smokers and smoking areas since he knew my RBC count and blood pressure is low. So there's a connection there, I think... I forget his explanation but it has something to do with the oxygen in/needed in the blood.

As for your concern, Conan324, I agree with the majority that you should consult your doctor about it for a more valid and concrete answer. Maybe the doctor found something in your sample and tried to verify with you if you are constantly exposed to tobacco smoke, so that he can check out what applies and what doesn't apply to your situation. The last thing you would need at this point is a faulty diagnosis.

Well, with blood pressure, the numbers for a "normal" blood pressure is put way too low, so that the doc can give you meds :/
So, if you have a low blood pressure they'll worry when you have that without taking meds.
Afaik there is certain food to lower your pressure too I think? Don't you love tea? :V

That I do, though I don't drink it as often as you might think, kinda forget to DX
