I'm pretty sure you'd have to go to 4chan territory to find a place where that's acceptable.

I've discovered the purpose here: we've walked into a troll ourselves :/

With something so morally rude, that's the only thing that makes sense to me.

..... I hope somebody deletes this. And keeps Moriarty off for a while if he's going to post threads up for THAT reason.

What I found "funny" was that the individuals were walking into a troll. I mean, when the initial post was about an effortless grammatical error, and people get mad at me for pointing it out, however harsh I did, while making more mistakes, they are setting themselves up.

they may have been "walking into a troll", but the fact of the matter is that you were trolling in the first place.

you were trolling a memorial service.

@sonoci: I was thinking that as well, but I would think just as little of him if this was a troll as if it's real, so it doesn't really matter a whole lot to me.

@kleene: while "don't feed the troll" is certainly a phrase and these people were certainly feeding a troll, keep in mind that many people don't use the internet for much past google/facebook/youtube, and are completely ignorant to the idea of trolls and the fact that people use the internet to be total asshats. In no way is it their fault for replying, because even if they hadn't replied, his original post would still be there and he would still be just as much of an asshat as he is now. If his intention was solely to address the misspelling, perhaps it would be different, but the tone is very obviously not in any sense of the word "respectful".

^ Then he needs to get help. That's a sign of a psycho if they have trouble caring for others.

trolling in interactions with 'anonymous' people on internet message boards (referring to the natural anonymity of most all message boards, not a certain terrible website) is something that is dumb, but not very serious... assuming you know that you can't interact that way with actual people who know who you are (and vice versa to a significant extent). you are being massively immature here and i am 100% sure that you will look back on this and realize that you are being a doofus. "walking into the troll", how stupid can you possibly be to rationalize what you did that way.

Detective Movies Contest 2013: Information Thread  Current Faceoff

"The energies of our system will decay; the glory of the sun will be dimmed, and the earth, tideless and inert, will no longer tolerate the race which has for a moment disturbed its solitude. Man will go down into the pit, and all his thoughts will perish. The uneasy consciousness, which in this obscure corner has for a brief space broken the contented silence of the universe, will be at rest. Matter will know itself no longer. 'Imperishable monuments' and 'immortal deeds,' death itself, and love stronger than death, will be as though they had never been."

By the way, Moriarty. In one of your comments in that discussion, you have a sentence in which you didn't capitalize the first letter.
