Alright, well, this is the first time I've posted on a thread without first reading all of the replies, but I'm too impatient this time.. I guess I'll get through them later.
Since DC is one of my two most very favorite fandoms of all time, I dream about it a lot.. and since I write down all of my dreams, I have a lot of dreams to tell you.. But I won't type them down all at once, because I'm lazy. Here's the most recent one (last night). I'll copy it directly from my dream journal. (By the way, how do I title spoilers? ^^;)
Stone Kaito, Christmas
[spoiler]Mom and I are walking past a very large Christmas tree in the center of the living room of our old house, and there are many, many presents underneath it. When we get close to it, I see our souls momentarily separate from our bodies (just like when Conan takes an antidote, except without the weird colors). I wanted to experiment and see if our souls would switch bodies if we got closer to the tree, so I got down on the ground by the trunk and told Mom to do the same. She did, but nothing happened. Disappointed, we continued into the next room. We put some vases on a chair to sell later.
Suddenly, the room had a couch and a big, flat-screen TV. A Kaito episode of DC was on, and my brother and some of his friends were on the couch. The TV was near the center of the wall to my right, and the couch was against the wall which was at a 90 degree angle to it (in front of me). I told Alex not to watch because I didn't want his first DC episode to be KID. I then moved to the center of the room, sat down on the floor, and watched the TV. However, my view soon turned from watching the following scene on the television to viewing it with a body-less, high-up view, with the action happening around me. In the episode, KID appeared high up, in a big room, on a thin tower, beside a giant Christmas tree, in a department store. He was there to steal "The Monster of the Store". It was black, had wings, and was obviously fake. Kaito then stepped off of the tower and was seemingly floating in mid-air.
I later find out that it is a thin rope that he was standing on, and that he is a very good tight-rope walker. When Kaito got closer to the monster, which was flying a few feet away, the monster landed on the tightrope, shed it's costume, and revealed itself to be a real, pitch-black, terrifying-looking, demon-like monster. It turned Kaito to stone and flew away with him. The REAL Kaito then comes out from behind a floating stone slab, and I find out that the kaito that was turned to stone was actually a fake, decoy-Kaito.[/spoiler]
Darn it, I forgot to put dates on my dreams..
The title of this one is: Anthropomorphic Cats, Link, Conan Puppet, Wailord...? The whole dream was incredibly odd, and more unusual than most of my dreams. However, it's very long and boring, so I'll only tell you about the DC related part.
[spoiler]I'm a male (I'm female in real life), adult, anthropomorphic cat. I'm in a black suit and tie, holding a briefcase, and have just gotten home from work. My anthro-cat wife was there in the entry-way, greeting me. Suddenly, I am myself, observing the scene. I see that "my wife" and the previous "me" are both orange tabbies. They talk for only a small bit before I "wake up" in my old school's gym. At first, I think I am a regular cat, but then I see Conan and Haibara, standing side-by-side and looking very happy, and I hear a mutual thought between them, "We're safe." From this I conclude that I am Conan. I also conclude that Haibara and I were in some sort of danger, from which we could only escape if we went into a coma together (where we dreamed that we were anthro cats), but now the danger is gone, so we were woken up.
Lots of DC people seem to be there, but the only ones that I can remember are Agasa, Kogoro, and Ran. They are all here to tell us good-bye, because apparently we are going away forever. As we walk out the gym door (the outside of which is nothing but blinding white light), Ran stands beside it, and she holds a Conan puppet on her right hand. Mouthing "goodbye", she makes the puppet wave goodbye with her other hand. I am touched by the heartfelt gesture and time slows down. I mouth "goodbye" back to her, as I walk out the door, tears welling in my eyes in a mixture of sadness, happiness, and longing.[/spoiler]
There was also a very enjoyable one called Dragons, Mansions, Cat Ears, in which the only DC related event was in the very beginning. Shinichi was using my shower, and in the meantime, he had entrusted my friend and I with his large, felt-covered, white box. My friend started coloring on it with markers.
