If you don't play Pokefarm you might not understand this one, but D: And there was way more detail than I usually have in dreams.
[spoiler]I was looking for pokemon eggs in the shelter and I saw an egg I'd never seen before. It was oblong and sort of warped, and it was a sea-green color with a blue jewel at the center. It was also glowing slightly. I hovered my mouse over it and it said "Santa Articuno Egg. " Figuring it was some sort of event legendary that I missed hearing about, I immediately clicked on it and was really psyched when I got it before someone else did.
I looked at the egg in my party and was surprised to see that it only needed 160 interaction points to hatch. (In the dream, the eggs I really have in my party in the game right now were there too.
) So I left it and went to school. When I came back home, I opened the game and it was ready to hatch, but none of my other eggs had gained any more interaction points, which was weird. But I was too excited to care, and I hatched the Santa Articuno egg, which was just an Articuno sprite with a Santa hat.
Pleased (because come on, a Santa Articuno), I tried to go back to my party screen. But when I hit the button, my entire screen went black and then the Santa Articuno sprite slowly appeared in the middle. As I watched, an arrow appeared next to the Santa Articuno pointing to a Zorua sprite (it looked like the old evolution screens pokefarm used to have, except on a black background). I figured that meant the Santa Articuno was really a Zorua in disguise? I was confused. D: The Santa Articuno and the arrow disappeared, leaving just the Zorua, whose sprite was looking directly at me through the screen. As I stared, the Zorua sprite's mouth turned into a toothy grin (still game animation, not like real-life motion, just one still replacing another). And then the Zorua disappeared too, and it faded back into my party screen.
However, my party was different. The Santa Articuno was gone, and so were my two eggs that I'd had before. The three pokemon I had in my party had no levelup bars anymore; it was just their sprites on a black bar with the message WARNING: (name of pokemon) IS INFECTED. I was like, wth, and tried to click on them, but it wouldn't let me. I went to my farm page, which had turned black with green text, and was just one line after another, "WARNING: (some pokemon I have) IS INFECTED." Not knowing what to do, I just sat there. Until a blue popup (the color of an articuno) came on the screen with two big circular buttons (YES and NO) and a question (DO YOU WANT TO STOP IT?) Weirded out, I pressed "yes," and it took me back to my party screen.
The Zorua sprite came back, but was replaced by a gigantic, stretched-out version of itself that WALKED ACROSS MY PARTY SCREEN (that was the creepiest part), and wherever it stepped, those pixels were gone. Replaced by bright red. So there were like holes in my pokemon's sprites. The stretched Zorua sprite walked up over my party and stepped on the "Farm" button, at which point the blue popup came back and asked me again DO YOU WANT TO STOP? (The "it" was gone this time.) I pushed yes again, and the text YOU'RE TOO LATE! came up, then the popup disappeared. The screen showed the Zorua thing stepping all over my fields and my various pokemon, before turning red.
When it came back, it was the "fields" page, and everything looked perfectly normal again, but each field was deserted. D:[/spoiler]
Now I almost don't want to hatch my real Articuno egg. :V This felt like something out of that creepypasta tumbler. (Edit: Maybe I should dress it up and put it on there; if someone from Pokefarm sees it, they might really make a Santa Articuno event. :x)
Weirdly, in the dream, the possibility that the egg was a prank and had given me an actual computer virus never occurred to me.
