key to not having hangovers: drink a lot of water before sleeping and take some vitamins or something. Awww yeah.

Eating is also a good thing, or so I've heard.

it is, but if it's junk food it won't help as much because of the lack of nutrients, so taking supplements helps with that. Drinking something like V8 (vegetable juice) also helps, but I tend to do that in the morning to fix a hangover rather than to not get one in the first place :V

Well, you shouldn't get a hangover from Vodka as easily as from poor wine/liquor anyway

pure, poor vodka. The type that you can get ~1.5 liters of for under $10.

And I won't say that it's necessarily easier to get a hangover on it than from poor wine (because you can get hangovers from good wine, even), just saying that it's pretty easy to get hangovers from vodka if it's cheap, low-quality stuff. My rebellious underage self remembers it well :V
