How are you that far already? I squeezed pass 22k today, but I really ought to be somewhere over 30k... distractions and stuff, I think. ~_~* That and not enough prep work for this story, I really need to figure out how to write cases. How on earth can I write a story set in Beika and NOT have cases? Besides, I need cases for Naoto to observe and work with Conan in order to figure out that he's actually Shinichi.... Also I need a KID heist for the group to bump into Hakuba, which gets funny pretty quick when Naoto and Saguru start yelling at each other in English. (Conan pipes up with "Um, you know you're not actually concealing the content of your conversation, right?")

OMM: The furnace works again! (I tripped a circuit breaker trying to make cocoa with the space heater running, so we had to go into a really creepy part of the basement to fix it, and I bugged the landlord about the furnace so he made sure it got fixed.) Flipping radiators make all sorts of weird noises.... The one behind the couch keeps trying to be a teakettle, or a stand mixer... hard to tell which, actually. ~_~* The noises made by the one in the bathroom keep making me think I left the water running....
