I actually try to decrease my ranking on that particular stat.  It makes it seem as if I have more important things to do than be here 24/7

Somehow, yes I can tell you his sole purpose for doing it is to surpass me.

He must have gotten tired of bantering back and forth with me about theories. The most recent Okiya = Yukiko bout went for only 5 posts between us.

There's no fun in seeing who has the superior post count if one just posts 10000 "LOL" at 10000 funny posts (Even if there are more ) and never actually makes a post with some meaning.

Agreed. Also taking time making meaningful and unique posts has the side effect of people liking you more.
