As long as you have some every time you score, I don't see why not.
If you're one-on-one with the rival keeper, and a friend of your team is next to you, do you pass her the ball or prefer to shoot yourself?

Hmmm. I had the same problem earlier as well, as I don't have blinds either and my window faces east. So, at around 9:00, the sun shines directly on (all of my) bed, making it both extremely hot and bright. I've gotten rid of that by using a reflecting jalousie (reflecting most of light and heat) and a very dark, blue curtain (blocks the remaining light). Of course, it's not completely dark, but if you turn your face away from the window and close your eyes, you can sleep.
