I have a meeting tomorrow at my company which provides Limo and Taxi services and I have to provide 20 good experiences to have ideas on what the costumer likes and what they enjoy from these services to help us improve ours.

Well, I'm not sure how it is in your country, but in my country, many of the taxi drivers are very eh.....talktive (and this is just an understatement). The best experience I had in a taxi was when the driver didn't start to talk with me or ask needless questions. (they talk about politics, the economy, their wives, their secret romances behind their wives' back, etc.)

Usually they get me where I want without losing their way, without purposely taking a longer route than necessary, and without asking too many personal questions.  Or, if I feel like talking, they are also willing to talk and answer questions and provide recommendations, etc.

...Really I'm not sure what a good review is supposed to sound like: "They drove me to where I wanted to go.  The end."  ?

Logically, I would think that the good/bad review would be based on efficiency, attitude of the driver, and cleanliness of the taxi/limo.

Well yours was actually a limo (hopefully), my taxi was just part of a taxi service and not what you think of when you think "taxi", it was actually just some guy's beat up old car.

But as Kor said, a quiet taxi driver would be the best imo, unless I decide to start a conversation, then they should be up for it.

It was. I had nothing against the driver/limo, though to be honest, that was a few years ago (2005-ish), so I don't remember much other than the people I was with and the fact that the whole night sucked.

I've never been in a taxi, but I think it would be best in general if the driver weren't openly hostile.

okay let me give you what i want from Taxi driver.

1. when i get in the car for the first time, they will greet me with goodday/goodnight maam/mr. with a nice smile.

2. because the taxi have a good Air conditioning. he will ask if the temp is enough or is it too cold for me....

3. to reduce crime. his photo, ID number and company telphone number should be displayed. so if we have anything to complain we can.

4. after i paid the cost and getting out of the car, the driver say thanks and remind me to check all my belongings ( to avoid getting left behind in the car).

and i really hate when the driver making / receiving a call while driving!. it not safe!!!!
