LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I HAVE RETURNED! And I sang "My Heart Will Go On" at the top of a Himalayan foothill with an Ozzie, an Irish girl and three Buddhist monks. Good times.

You did put this in your Awesome Stories thread, right? If not, you must have read this title wrongly....

It was awesome, but also weird. As was the number of Backstreet Boys ringtones around the gompa. I haven't gotten to the awesome stories thread, but rest assured the gap year in general will join that XD

Sitting in the Subway, all of a sudden this guy just randomly walks in and points at me and laughs. What the hell was that? o.O

Also, after many years of not hearing the song "My Heart Will Go On" I hear it three times this weekend.

One of those times, no doubt, was when you heard this rendition:

I KNEW IT!
But do we have any members from Ireland? Or members who are buddhist monks?

Excerpt of a conversation earlier today:

Me: "Hi, Wilma. When'd you get here?"
Wilma: "I've been here a while. We're working on the new leaflet." *swivels laptop to show leaflet that she and mom are working on*
Me: *pointing at page 4* "Um... what is that?"
Mom: *We're doing a cartoon animal theme for the leaflet, so we looked up some cute animal images..."
Me: "Yeah... but... um... that's..."
Mom: "Isn't it cute? Wilma's son sent her the image, said it was public domain."
Me: *To Wilma* "You need to stop his pocket money."
Wilma: "Why, is something wrong?"
Me: "Kind of... let's put it this way: that bear has a name, and it's Pedobear."

The replaced it with a generic teddybear image, thankfully. That could have been bad.

XD XD XD  Amazing.

I'm curious where does pedobear come from? I've seen people post it here but I don't know its origins.
