Now, if anyone were to do this, I'd probably be the one responsible for it...Conia wrote:PhoenixTears wrote:Do we need to go beat up the drunk old lady for you, nom? Cause we will.

or >:D are attached, that paragraph may not be 100% serious. Seriously.
(I won't be talking about those, though. Suffice to say my reaction was "wtf?" and a few other colorful words to all of them.)
Little bit creeped out all over again. And why is it that I always seem to attract the creepy dudes?

Actually, Germany is, except for Israel, probably one of the safest countries in the world for Jews. No minister will ever, in the next 100 years, suggest any law which might only be interpreted as discriminating Jews (because he'll immediately lose his job), and anyone who tries to bully a Jew (at least if that fact is known) will probably have to deal with all the people around interferingKor wrote:So I talked with a girl from my ensemble, and somewhere along the way, it came up that I was born in Germany. So, what is her comment to that? She simply asked "why?". How does the question "why?" can even come after the sentence "I was born in Germany."? Odd thing is - it's not the first time this has happened to me. Some other brilliant dude couldn't hold his "why?" after I told him that I was born in Germany.
Then of course, I tried to answer that girl, so like any other typical jew, I just asked her back a question "What do you mean "why"?"
the girl: why were you born there?
me: why shouldn't I have been born there?
girl: because it's Germany
me: so......?
girl: you know, the war and all of that stuff
me: You mean - the war from 60 years ago?
girl: yes
me: That was a long time ago, what does it has to do with the 90s?
girl: It's not a safe place for jews
me: You do realize that many jews are living in Germany today quite peacefully, right?
girl: Jews are still living there? I thought they all left
At that point, I actually had to go, so I had to cut the discussion and leave. But........yeah, that girl is stupid.
