Random Poll of the Day! (92)

Postby Kor » September 12th, 2010, 3:09 pm

I've never watched a 3D movie and probably never will, until the technology to have 3D without the stupid glasses will exist.

3-D is always better. ;)

I really don't get what the problem with the glasses is

I mean it's not like we're still using redblue / redgreen filtering glasses or something similar that makes things painful to look at

anyway, option 3.

They're coming out with 3D TV's. I've seen them in the commercials. :o

I've seen Alice in Wonderland and it was underwhelming. Just another useless gimmick. I can see it being used for major sports events though.

Seeing a soccer ball about to hit me, awesome IMO.

Personally, I also don't understand why 3D is so overused lately (money) and why is it so needed in every movie. Movies with special effects, fine. But why was there 3D Stepup? (I didn't watch the movie, so I might be wrong) it basically has a dance......plot......dancers....movie.....plot. Why does a person need to see people dancing in 3D?
What's next? Sex and the City in 3D? (no I did not watch that movie if that's what you think)

3rd option. I wear glasses, so whenever I go to a 3-D, my eyes hurt.

But, you know what was an awesome 3D movie? Spy Kids 3.
Why? You never win the cursed war.

the same argument has been made about going from VHSs to DVDs to BluRays. Do people really need to see the individual hairs on someone's arm as they're monologuing about something?

The fact of the matter is, no they don't, but people like it because the more "real" something looks, the more immersive it is. The same thing goes for 3D.

I kinda like 3D, but only when 3D's an addition rather than the point. I can't stand it when there's a shot that's clearly only there just to throw stuff out of the screen at you. I find it far more effective as a subtle enhancement.

It's fine, but I could enjoy the movie without it。

I would usually watch a movie without 3D if possible, because:
1. It's cheaper.
2. It makes my eye tired.
3. The glasses are lol |:
4. I'm wearing glasses so + another pair of glasses is just... ;__; for me.
5. I get real exhausted at the end of the movie.

I wouldn't use hate because it's a pretty strong word, so I just went for option three. I got do without it, but with it, I guess it's fine too. |: .

Imo there's no difference lol between a normal one and a 3D movie. (>__<).

I hate 3D movies.  It's not just the glasses, though that is definitely part of it.  It's more expensive as well, and I just don't understand the appeal.  I watch a movie because I don't want to think about reality.  So... if that movie is infringing on my reality, why should I enjoy it?
