drawing pentagrams on peoples' brains isn't a very good idea, I'll admit.

Damn you akonyl! XD I can't stop laughing because of that typo you found! XD
But in both senses, it's correct ;p

...in both senses? So are you giving him advice on how his butt shouldn't hang around or he won't get a good job?

Yes. Would you employ someone with a hanging butt? D:
I'm insulted that you would think I discriminate against those with hanging-butt syndrome. It's a very serious illness, you know.

Seriously? You have to decide on your life at 15? Let me warn you something. The job that seems most interesting right now will definately NOT be what seems most interesting in six months time, and six months later you'll be interested in something else entirely. You don't want to get stuck in a job you hate because you chose at the wrong time; hell, my dad didn't figure out what he wanted to do with his life until he was 27.

The most important thing is to find what you enjoy doing, and then find someone to pay you to do it. Think about what subjects in school you enjoy most and stick with them, then find out what kind of careers those lead to; if you don't enjoy the subjects you have to study to get a job, in all likelihood you won't like the job either.

Just don't genuinely believe that you have to decide on your entire life right now. You'll keep changing your mind for years, and that's okay. The important thing is not to end up stuck in a career you hate.

going off of this, I'd like to point out my dad as an example as well, when he graduated college he was a Studio Art/Creative Writing double major, but now he works on software for the government.

So, more evidence that your decision of major in college doesn't necessarily choose your path in life.

most of them die in a weapon related accident - hence it's their families that get paid usually - probably talking hundreds of grand here.

Arms dealer, .. I'd voted for that

If you're interested in Military but unable to join them, Arms dealer always come as the better option...

* P.S * I just love that Nicholas Cage movie :

~ There are over 550 million firearms in worldwide circulation. That's one firearm for every twelve people on the planet.
The only question is: How do we arm the other 11?~

~ You know who's going to inherit the Earth? Arms dealers. Because everyone else is too busy killing each other ~

Back to the subject of jobs, you really shouldn't decide now. When I was fifteen, I wanted to be a computer programmer. When I was sixteen, I wanted to by a psychologist. When I was seventeen, I wanted to be an actress, and as such applied for (and got a place on) a course in Drama and Performance for uni. I'm about to turn 18 and now I want to be a writer. You will keep changing for a long time. But I can say that when I was picking subjects to suit a career, particularly programming, I picked courses that I HATED. So very much. Then I picked courses that I liked and that lead me to acting and writing. So trust me when I say that the best thing you can do right now is to pick classes you enjoy and see where that leads you.

Well my dad works on a ship, he is in the navy (CS-2) and working on a ship is horrible you work almost 24/7 and are gone for mounths. but then he is working for the military not a cruise ship so it might be different.
