I have 4GB DDR3, in fact, and an external hard drive... but I'm still jealous.
Actually... "toshiba laptop with 4 GB DDR3, 320 GB HD" is pretty much exactly what I've got.  (Plus a 640GB external hard drive).

my dad is like that, used to aggravate me when I was younger :V

me: "What do you even need that for?"
dad: "iunno but it's pretty sweet!" *goes and plays Myst*

Well, I'm not quite that bad.

I won't buy a new computer until mine completely crashes.  I'm very particular about spending money (which is probably a very, very good thing).  In fact, I haven't spent more than a couple hundred bucks on something unnecessary in quite a while.
