Remember this? ;D
Apparently there was another rule in the task that the song must be built in a A-A-B-A form, so this pretty much meant a big NO for almost every freaking OP. I could have always tried to arrange a certain OP to fit the A-A-B-A form, but I wouldn't have been satisfied with the result (also, I don't think it could be done without ruining the song).
Then I remembered this one OP from the past which fits the form - Moonlight Densetsu (first Sailor Moon OP). So, considering Sailor Moon is one of my favorite anime, I chose this one.
To be honnest, I felt like I was being lazy, because I tried to not changed too much from the original, but seeing as how the other students' arrangements turned out, mine was the best (also I was the only one who wrote in the sheets in the computer. The others wrote with their terrible hand writing, and even I, a person who read notes for more than half of his life, had trouble to read them.
So anyway, here is the result: [in the later post]
Yes, I know. Terrible quality. Even though we sat in a room next to a freaking recording studio, the teacher still preferred to just record it on someone's phone..........AND he only wanted it on ONE take..............AND he kept forgetting that this is a recording, so he "joined in" with his voice to fix the 'along-the-way-mistakes'.
The pianist for some reason saw it fit to interpret the melody on occasions. I couldn't care much for it, if it wasn't for the fact that he supposed to be playing the melody alongside the guitar player, but oh well.
At the end, well, it was my first arrangement, so I think it was pretty well. 8)
