I used to love Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwiches.  Then one gave me food poisoning.  Never again.

again, I'm sorry you live in horrible places.

of course I live in Massachusetts so that can't be the reason  :P

I live in CA so that probably the reason for my bad fast food. If you ever come here you will see why, there are a lot more ass holes here than in texas. :(

Er....out of curiosity....how exactly does the fast food thing follow from what looked like it started as a discussion of languages? On second thought...I probably don't really want to know. ~__~*

I tend not to care for fast food much at all. I've had food poisoning from McD's, my friend will never eat at BK again because she got food poisoning there...Wendy's is usually all right, but you have to make sure you get one that's staffed by people who speak fluent English and can understand what you say to them when you make your order, otherwise it takes forever and just gets frustrating.
I think I tend not to eat fast food much largely because I don't care for fast-food burgers. Usually when we go to Wendy's I'll get chicken nuggets, fries, and a Frosty (dip both fries and chicken in the Frosty--sounds weird but it's actually quite good). My husband gets plain chicken sandwiches--but then, he'd eat nothing but chicken patty sandwiches if I let him. He used to do that back at college. ~_~*

I live in southern NH, by the way.
My NaNo 2014 project is a crossover fanfic with Persona 4 and Detective Conan! This year I'm sending the detective from Persona 4 to find out what happened to Shinichi.

..I'm not following your logic.  I'm happy w/ CA, even though there are horrible deficit problems, that's what we get for electing a terminator.  Great weather, great food, diverse community.. I'm sure anywhere you go there will be "assholes", just to let you know.

I think Patterson doesn't count as part of the Bay Area, it's a bit too far away (like Sacramento).  I live in a pretty well-known city.  I don't necessarily want to say...

and yeah, wtf about fast food?  California is especially known for its health nuts instead of their fast food.. - There's no more "bad fast food" joints in CA than any other state.

They're pricier because they're less common and they don't grow nearly as well.  That is, of course, assuming you mean "organic" foods.  Because they can't use genetic engineering or chemicals and all that stuff, the "organic" foods are subject to a lot more diseases and pests than other foods.

And on that note, saying that genetic engineering  isn't "organic" is stupid... actually using the term organic to describe foods that are "natural" is also stupid.
