The English Thread

Postby c-square » April 1st, 2010, 10:58 am

There's a German thread, a Filipino thread.  What we've been missing is an English thread!

This is a thread for all English, or English speakers, to come and chat in English.  Even if you don't know much English, you're still welcome to join!

It's all about the BK Stackers.  No sauce.  Makes it INSANELY easier to order a plain burger with cheese (with bacon, because without the bacon you might as well eat at McDonalds or Checkers).  I don't know how many idiots I used to confuse by saying "Cheeseburger, plain."  They'd always be baffled and ask "So, do you want cheese?"  Apparently there's no difference between a plain cheeseburger and a plain hamburger, except enough of one to ask.

I got a quad-stacker from BK once

that was the closest I've ever come to death, I think.

I blame all the idiots that ask for a "plain cheeseburger" and actually mean "hamburger," because they don't know what a cheeseburger without cheese is called.

"Isn't a "hamburger" just ham between two buns?"

Perhaps, but I think you're giving too much credit to most folks who work at these places.

Also, going to bitch about KFC, too.  4 Tuesdays in a row I go in for lunch, and they don't have lettuce.  If you consistently run out of lettuce before Tuesday... maybe you should adjust your order so you either have enough to last you until Tuesday, or get the next shipment earlier.  Also, I had a gift card that covered all but 65 cents of my order.  So I give them a dollar.  They kept it all.  Bastards.

If only the snackers weren't so cheap and tasty compared to pretty much every other fast food joint around.

you all must live in bad places, most of the fast food I eat is typically cooked ("cooked"...whatever) surprisingly well. A bit more and it could maybe burn my hands at times. Well except Taco Bell but I can't remember the last time I went there anyway.
