I thought I would start a topic or thread that would allow anyone to walk in a rant about something and or anything. Things that annoy you, or you wonder about but at other sites they taunt and tease you about it. I have one such problem.
Now because I do not desire to get DCTP into any problem with other groups I will not name the sight but I will set up the sceen for you.

I go to this one sight for my anime fix (yes it is true, not only am I addicted to Conan but anime in general.) They use to be really good, reliable and timely. I don't and still don't mind waiting for my anime to get subbed because I know it is free and when you grip about something that is free your just being a petty pain. With that in mind I waite...and waite...and waite...oh! did I mentioned I waite some more. The show I was interested in not only is no longer airing because it has reached its conclution. Let's say they were...26 ep that came out while the show was airing. In that time only 10 eps have been subbed. It is now three months since the end of the show and ep 11 hasn't been out in that three months.
So I go to the message board and simply ask. "Did you guys drop this show? I looked on your "Dropped Projects" page and didn't see anything about it. I only ask because the show is over, you only have ep 10 out of 26 and last month you said things should pick up because finals are over with. I don't mind waiting I really don't I just want to know you are still doing this show."
To which the reply was:
"If your too stupid to take the time to read the DP page and find out yourself the you should just go and hang yourself and improve the human gene pool. You can consider it your part in making life better for all around you. We get things done when we feel like it and your b!tching about it only makes us want to go even slower." (please note this was not was said, I shorten it and took out a few of the offending words but you get the jist of it)

I guess what I want to know is what I said that was sooooooooo wrong to warrent such distain. I have waited for a year for some anime to get done and never said a word once. They say a little paticence goes a long way. The rest of that quot is never heard and hardly known it would seem and it goes well with it.
A little paticence goes a long way, too much paticence gets you absolutly no where.

well that is my rant, I feel a little better just getting it off my chest. Like I said this thread is ment to allow you to prevent your head from exploiding but please their is no need to beat one another over the head. It is not my intentions or desire to start a war of word with anyone. I guess I just want to know I am not the only one banging my head on the brick wall. Thank you

I mean, your question was nice, so nice that it never deserved to have an answer like that! There's nothing wrong with asking, right?

Well, don't worry here in DCTP. The staff here is amazing! I read an argument with a member and a staff a few weeks ago and do you want to know who's the nice one and the not-so-nice one? The staff member never said an offending word and kept advising nicely, but the other one, who should be respecting the staff was the one who said some not-so-nice words! Now that's one of the reasons why I <3 DCTP!

I think it would be wise not to tell. Like I said I do not wish to start any problems for a good site, like this one, and one that will mock and ridicule there own mothers just to make themselfs look cool.

It is good to know I didn't commit some kind of taboo with out knowing about it...lol

I just thought of something. Its not a rant really just a complaint. I don't like anime that has endings that make little to no sence at all. Same goes for anmies in general that make no sence. Example FLCL.
Oh! and I hate it when an anime gets licened here in the U.S. and we mess up the story to make it worse. Example Yugioh. I hated that show when I saw it first here in the U.S. but I got bord one day and downloaded the sub version and WOW! they totally fracked over that show and now I see why people hate it when animes get licened.

Well you could have said. "this guy x and this guy Y make me made because..." but you can't now because everyone knows if you grip who you are gripping about. So...yeah it's not going to work...lol

I just think an anime, like a book or movie, should have a begining, a point to make, the struggle to the point and an ending that corisponds to the point. Does that make me strange? lol

No, I'm like that too. Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei was pretty funny, but I never watched more than the 3 first episodes of it. I just lost interest because it wasn't really going anywhere. Gintama is a big exception 'though. It doesn't really make sense most of the time either, but there are episodic stories in it, and sometimes the mood gets more serious, and a real story arc starts and lasts at least 3 episodes. And those story arcs get some kind of continuation later on.
