I think we should do something about our system of rating. Everyone seems to have a different maximum of voting, or many of us are over-rating. I just get irritated by things like

Is his/her maximum 12, is it even higher, or is it indeed 10 and the 12 is overrated? After all, I'm probably the only one whose rating is always clear, because you can always deduct the maximum rating from my connotations.
I'd suggest one of the following solutions:
a) We agree on 10 (or another number) as the maximum and stop overrating (10 is the very best, and if you want to mark something as very, very good and have given many 10s already, think about raising your requirements for 10, 9 etc.). This is the option I'd prefer.
b) Everyone writes in percent, so, if 12 were the maximum above, we had A: 75% and S: 100%
c) Everyone writes with the maximum number behind a slash, so, taken the example from b): A: 9/12 and S: 12/12, similar to what happened at the beginning of this topic.
What do you think?
A:
a) 8 (-1 perfect, -1 size)
b) 80% (-10% perfect, -10% size)
c) 8/10 (-1 perfect, -1 size)
S:
a) 6.5 (-1 perfect, -1 size, -1.5 grainy)
b) 65% (10% perfect, -10% size, -15% grainy)
c) 6.5/10 (-1 perfect, -1 size, -1.5 grainy)
