That's the best answer I could give. It's obviously jazzy, and some parts lean more towards cool jazz (another part leaned more to the poppy side too), so beyond calling it a "background piano music" I don't think there's more to it genre wise.

It definitely feels jazzy, but when i hear actual jazz piano music, it makes me think that there's probably a sub genre in jazz for this type of music.

It's the same for early Detective Conan soundtrack (and a lot of the Sailor Moon soundtrack) - it sounds jazzy, but they don't really fit into any specific Jazz style.

And kor, i've been meaning to ask you, Since your studying music, do you feel you have become better at composing since you started your studies? im asking because i want to see if Composition skills can be learned.

I'm probably not the best person to ask, since my field of studies never focused on composition. I did begin to compose stuff in my last semester, though, so I think studying music does help. Learning stuff like harmony, counterpoint, arranging, etc. definitely helps me when I try to write stuff, but also participating in ensembles helps me.
As far as learning specific composition skills, there was a composition major in my college, so I'd say it's totally possible to learn composition skills.
