I need some zombie PS3 game recommendations. They must have physical discs, and plz don't list any zombie DLCs for non-zombie games (Call of Duty, Borderlands 1, etc).

Note: Please don't recommend any Walking Dead, Resident Evil, Dead Island, or Dead Rising games, I already know about those.

The Last of Us isn't a zombie game per se (it has people infected with fungi instead of actual zombie zombies), but let's be honest, it's a zombie game, and a damn great one.

Thanks for the The Last of Us recommendation, but I'm waiting until Naughty Dog releases the GOTY Edition, before I play it.

(I dislike having to pay extra for DLC, especially since it's usually PSN exclusive)

Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare is fantastic. It does open-world zombie so much better than those crappy Dead Island and Dead Rising games.
It's a separate game in PAL version, but it might just be DLC in NTSC. Luckily the PS3 is region-free so it doesn't matter.

Yep The Last of Us is probably the best one as far as story goes.
