They are the commonest, cheapest goldfish in my hometown.(0.5-3yuan each),and nearly every child have the experimence of keeping them. However, most people keep them just for fun.Because of the low price, many goldfish don't get much care, then they die soon.
I have "killed" eight fish.Things began to get better four months ago.Now all my fish are happy and healthy.
I changed 80% water yesterday,so the water may looks "brusgue“( I really don't kown how to express in English.)

Aww, cute!

Have you considered putting some plants in there?
(Feel free to PM me about fish stuff ^^ I know nothing about gold fish though, I'm more of the tiny fish/shrimp person XD)

You should definitely have some plants in there, and TBH I'm not sure that you're supposed to have that many goldfish in a tank that size... goldfish need a LOT mofe room than people think, and when properly cared for can live more than twenty years.

I'd add some floor to that as well.

Some experienced keepers told me that this kind goldfish needs 1L water each cm(not include tails). My fish have more room than that.Other kinds may need more room.I used to put some plants, but these stupid guys ate them, and some shatters even affected the water-pumps.So, fish only.

And I don't think the life of goldfish can be so long. The oldest goldfish I have seen is 8 years old.

Goldfish in captivity, when properly cared for, can easily live into their teens, and if you follow Petty on tumblr she talks about the pet store she works for and the fish she cares for, and she's spoken of a goldfish living twenty years before.

Well, I like to go against the norm then I guess--since I have never had any goldfish or fish in general as pets. :P
Then again, as a tiger, it would be darn hard for me to resist not eating those delicious swimming meals right away. :V

@柔花月儿: Lovely fish you got there! ^^

In some areas goldfish is not so popular, and someone is even afraid of fish.

Those fish are cool. I'm fairly sure if I had some my cat would eat them though ~_~.

to my defence.... I'm a terrible typer... And a lazy corrector
But my thought still stands, don't you usually add pebbles to the tank to fill the bottom...?

pebbles will make it difficult for the pump to clean goldfish's excrement. It is bad for the water quality.
