Sci-Fi now SF?

Postby Fenris » February 7th, 2009, 10:06 am

That's right! Instead of Science Fiction (Sci-Fi) the new term for the genre is 'SF'. Seems 'Sci-Fi' was too general and they needed to broaden the series out a bit. I honestly think they should take that shoe out of their ass and change it back. I like 'Sci-Fi' better. 'SF' just sounds fricken lame.

Maybe the TV channel? (I have cable, but I haven't used my TV for anything other than my PC monitor for 5 months now)

No, theterm 'Sci-Fi' doesn't exist, it's in the past now. Now it's 'SF'. There is no more Sci-Fi! xD

My Sci-Fi Fantasy teacher told me, he should have put the title as 'SF' Fantasy because 'Sci-Fi' isn't the name of the Genre anymore.

This means books, videos, series, etc. Anything that WAS Sci-Fi is now SF.

Yep I agree. Sci-Fi is clear what it means. SF might mean Super Fake.

Right?

SF could also mean:

Stupid Fire
Sorry Fox
Sonoko's Father (XD)

So Sci-fi is BETTER
