Should you consider writing every character into increasingly forced pairings that are mostly spent on the couple not technically together yet, especially for stupid reasons (barring certain comedies)

AND/OR

should you consider making who likes who constantly obvious and spend almost all your time writing would-be couples instead of actual drama based on people who are actually together

here is my brilliant and very specific suggestion:
