I think I'm going to buy a Chris Bosh jersey to punish myself.

Jd- wrote:I'm back in the exact same position I was in last year. Simply put: The Heat need to lose, in order to get better. It's really that simple. If they win this, they're not going to change anything and it's not going to get any easier going forward. Bosh will keep taking up a ridiculous amount of cap room that he can not in any way justify, while also holding the job of big man where he plays like a shooter and not his actual position.

Really not sure how I want this game to go, for realsies.
bosh sure is dragging lebron down tonight... Image

and lol, manu is having another putrid game. it's almost as thought the bad well outweighs the good with him at least point in his career!

LeBron tried hard to throw it away there at the end, but Bosh and Allen had some incredibly clutch plays; stunning game.

san antonio spurs: 13 turnovers.
manu ginobili: 8 turnovers.

also finished -21, well worse than any other player on the spurs. for at least a night he's saved me from the nightmare that is 5pur5.

Seems like every time we hate on someone, they come up big.

Dilbert was hating on Ginobili before game 5, then he has an amazing game; I was hating on Chalmers, then he throws up decent numbers in game 6; Jd was hating on Bosh, then Bosh pulls off some incredibly clutch elimination-saving plays.

In effort to further test this theory: Ginobili was terrible. Sure, he was once a pretty good player, but now he's incredibly inconsistent. The only games where I thought he performed at a level to justify his pay in the playoffs was game 5 of the finals and the game where he shot the winner over the Warriors. Spurs would be much better off axing him and getting some more promising young blood like Green or Leonard.

Perhaps now he'll throw up 40 in game 7.

Absolute horrible reffing at the end. But the Spurs should've never put themselves in that position; heading into the 4th with a double digit lead and totally blowing it.

There were a quite a few bad calls against the heat in the late third that helped the Spurs open up their lead, but when a couple calls go in favor of the heat every forum is deluged with this sort of post. Manu even traveled on the play where Allen reached across him, though granted that doesn't get called too often.

Guess there was an IP associated with the American Airlines Arena checking these forums tonight.

No team has ever won a finals Game 7 on the road, right? That's bad for Spurs fans and me.

No team... except for the ones that did.

It's no wonder no one remembers it happening: the last time was in 78, and it's only happened three times (after nearly twenty attempts). Tim Duncan was like two years old then, so... let's hope he was paying attention in them baby booties.
