By the way I came across a different etymology for "www" as in warai. Not really convincing but:

I'm not sure what you mean by three "please" words in a row.  My understanding of what you were saying was "Please think about it and do it" instead of "Please think about it and see".  Do I have that wrong?

I'm not sure what you mean by three "please" words in a row.  My understanding of what you were saying was "Please think about it and do it" instead of "Please think about it and see".  Do I have that wrong?

What he wanted to say was "Please try to think about it."  ()-te miru is "try ()"

I wanted to to say "please think about it" as in "consider this", but it seems the polite way in Japanese is "please try to think about it".
It's a clear pleonasm in my eyes.
Anyway, I'm not bitching  I got my point across.
