I know people are freaked out about this unholy union between Lucas Arts and Disney, but I can’t tell you how excited I am for it. I mean, think about it. The last film Lucas arts made that I really enjoyed was made 2 years after I was born. Disney has consistently made films I’ve enjoyed my entire life. Notably this year: The Avengers which they acquired… 3 years ago? Which was an incredibly fun film.

Disney owns Lucas Arts though. Can you imagine the possibilities? Pixar has access to Star Wars. Their 2D studios could make a traditionally animated Indiana Jones movie. We may finally get HD re-releases of the unaltered original Star Wars films. Mickey Mouse, Sora, Vivi, Iron man, and Darth Vader could all be in Kingdom Hearts 3. Light saber key blades. How can you not be excited?

Whats more Lucas is donating all the money he made off of the deal to education. Star Wars wasn’t sold to make Lucas money. It was sold to be put in a proper home. I think it’s safe to calm down.

Well, I'd say Pirates of the Caribbean 2-4 were quite good :x
Not quite as good as the first, but still very good

I'll go enjoy my amazing Hobbit trilogy with Cate Blanchette and Ian McKellan.

2 and 3 were decent at best. And I've refused to watch 4 because that movie never should have existed.

I can't quite agree. While 4 was kinda weak, it was still a good movie. IMO, LotR<<<<1<(Hunt for Red October)<<3<<4<2=HP1+2<<<<<<<<(Harry Potter 3-7).

to be fair Gorge lucas was not doing very good job at keeping it. I mean just this year he re-leased phamtom manace in 3-d just so that he can make more money... I hope this means end of 3-d starwars movie...

Considering Disney has been doing 3D versions of their classics, I wouldn't be surprised if they continue Star Wars 3D movies.
