Short version: All the same "points" are made. Same implications. Cannot discuss it publicly.
Then why post it here? Is there some reason you're announcing to us that you're PMing Jd-, instead of just going ahead a doing it? Hmm..
EDIT: Just realized you took it as a bold declaration on The DCG's part, but it was actually my edit saying I would answer in PM instead. For why, please see below~
Ha ha! I missed the part that said an edit was done by you. Still, I think it would be funny if there was a rule saying that before we ever PM anyone, we must first declare it publicly. In bold. Followed by a summary of what we're going to say. I'm sure that'd make things very interesting.

Okay. Then for curiosity's sake, how about the following situations?
a) A person who has never posted in the official topic (and thus has 15 tokens) gains +3 tokens, for a total of 18. (S)He then posts in the official topic. What is his/her token count after posting in the official topic?
b) A person who has never posted in the official topic (and thus has 15 tokens) gains -3 tokens, for a total of 12. (S)He then posts in the official topic. What is his/her token count after posting in the official topic?
Because those posting in the unofficial topic are likely to be aware of the rules of the game itself (and aware of the 3 token rule, outside of spamming going on), once they have been targeted by the game from posting in the unofficial topic, they will no longer be eligible for their tokens to be reduced assuming there was a negative or positive change that amounted from the targeting. Consider it as if they have bypassed the opportunity to have their tokens reduced the original way at that point.
Hmm... I'm not sure I quite understand. By the phrase "once they've been targeted by the game" do you mean once they have been given a role or have been the target of a role's actions? Or do you just mean anyone, immediately upon first posting in this thread, officially forfeits their opportunity to post in the official thread to reduce their token total?

I would think posting in the unofficial topic prior to posting in the official topic shouldn't affect that, and that he meant once they had either been chosen for a role or as a target, but that's just a guess on my part.

PT's on the money, yep.
In that case, my questions still stand. What happens in the following situations?
a) A person who has never posted in the official topic (and thus has 15 tokens) and has never taken a role or has been a target of a role's actions gains +3 tokens by a means other than being a target or taking on a role, for a total of 18. Why resist the urge? Doesn't that help you from 'winning'? (Yes, I'm still confused by this game. Dx)

Apparently, since I've dropped below three tokens, and I've also been the target of a role, posting in the official thread won't affect my token count now. Even so, I still have my reasons for avoiding that area.

Nobody can gain tokens by a means other than being a target or taking on a role, so I think it'll be OK.
Yeah, I'm being uber-careful by not even posting in the new topic. I have a feeling I'm going overboard with this, but hey, why not?
Anyway, I like proposal #9, though I'm going to wait until we see Proposal #10 before voting. I suggest others do the same, just in case proposal #10 affects proposal #9 in some way.
Jd has at times also included this topic as targets for the 'game'
Maybe it is time to change the topic title to C Square's Blog?
Yeah, I seem to be the only one who hasn't posted on an official topic yet, so that title does seem fitting. However, even though people can be targeted for posting here, this topic is still unofficial and doesn't carry the same implications as posting in the official topic (i.e. having one's initial token count reduced from 15 to 3).
