There are council plumbers digging up our street to fix the pipes today. Occasionally, one comes to the door and asks me to flush this dye stuff to see if they've hooked up the pipes right. It's turned the toiler water bright green, resulting in a fabulous moment right after my little brother got home, went into the bathroom, instantly came into my room and went "What the ^&%( are you DRINKING?!" XDXDXDXDXD

my day has been made.

I was sittin in my cube when I heard a weird intermittent motor sound coming from outside in the hallway so I decide to see what it is. One of my coworkers has a giant shark balloon with a remote-controlled tail fin and balance point and is flying it around the hallways. So I joined the train of followers who were watching it and had a good time watching him surprise random people with a floating shark.

Today's awesome story:  God answers prayers.  Not always in the most obvious of ways, but I'll take it. XD

I might wake up early and go running. I also might wake up and win the lottery. The odds are about the same.

My little brother ordered me FMA Brotherhood volume 5 as a belated birthday present. I am watching the Promised Day IN ENGLISH. And the special features include the outtakes reel, too. I ACTUALLY LOVE HIM.

had to dredge this up from the depths :V

anyway, went to a party last night where one of the games was a quiz game where you had to ask someone a question they were unlikely to know the answer to (but at least one person needs to be able to answer). This guy arrives who not many people actually know, and his question is "What instrument do I play?" Turns out he plays the cello. Upon hearing this one of the people who lives in the house is like "HEY I JUST SO HAPPEN TO OWN A CELLO" and hands it to the guy who proceeds to play some awesome cello music.

That's the type of exchange I expect to see with a guitar player or something because they're pretty common, but... not a cello. :V

@Akonyl: That's amazing XD

I got 71% for my first essay, which is just over the line for an A. Why is this awesome? Before setting us the essay, the teacher gave us a speech stressing how due to the vastly different natures of University and High School essays, it's all but impossible to get an A on essays in first year and to even get more than 40%, the pass mark, is an impressive achievement. AND I GOT AN A, BEEYATCHES.

I drove a passenger train today \o/ So far I've only had practise on cargo companies and I still have that to tell the truth. But when I took the train home I decided (once again (tried it before but was treated like a terrorist D: )) to ask if I could see how it looks where the driver sits and I was allowed to not just look but also to drive the train. Was really easy I might add, though it wasn't far to were I was getting off.

I finally managed to reach a strength of 1 Dan in igowin :D
Spoiler: Screenshot
Image
Just for the record, if that igowin ranking were accurate, I would be among the most powerful players in Germany (7 Dan is the maximum). Sadly, though, igowin likes to exaggerate, the strength I displayed is more like 5 kyu (= -4 Dan). Nonetheless, it considers me so strong that it is giving itself three handicap stones now. Clearly, I'm way stronger than the program :P
If  ;), :D, ;D, ::), :P, :-X, :o or >:D are attached, that paragraph may not be 100% serious. Seriously.

Earlier today my brother called his landlord apologizing for the late rent hoping he could work out a deal with his landlord. His landlord said that my brother had nothing to apologize for. It turns out my brother's girlfriend's mother paid all of their current and past due rent without telling them. Now they have some more time to get come up with a plan as to how they're going to come here. That's the best birthday present I could ever wish for my brother.

That awesome moment where you wake up five minutes before your alarm and are getting dressed when it goes off.
