• A white cat with blue eyes may be deaf in both ears or a white odd-eyed cat may be deaf in the ear on the side with the blue eye.
• Some breed traits have been bred out for various reasons. For example in the Siamese cat the kinked tail trait and crossed eyed trait are now considered breed faults.
• The location where a Siamese is born and bred can drastically affect its coloration! The warmer the climate the lighter the coat color and the colder the climate the darker the coat color.
