Re: Today's Bad Stories !
hangovers are just dehydration and the loss of nutrients that happens as your body attempts to purge itself of poison, so just make sure to drink lots of water afterwards, and have a good diet full of vitaminy and nutritious goodness before drinking, and after you're done your boozening. At college before I did massive amounts of drinking, I always bought two bottles of V8, one for beforehand and one for the next morning, worked like a charm.mangaluva wrote:Worth the hangover. But you don't get them? I now hate you like I hat emy pal who was shooting 40% Vodka all night and has NO NEGATIVE EFFECTS WHATSOEVER THIS MORNING. XDXDPhoenixTears wrote:Totally worth the hangover, right?mangaluva wrote: And a damn good party it was.
I've been lucky enough to never have a hangover. Though I was expecting to have one last time I got really, really drunk. Good thing I didn't though, cause I had to work the next day.![]()

oh god
so I just went downstairs into the basement to take care of my cats' litterbox. On the way down, I notice what looks like a hairball or some other nasty thing the cat coughed up or something, which isn't too unusual on these stairs. As I'm about to mock the cat for vomming on the stairs, I take a closer look, and it's not cat vomit/hairball at all. Instead, it's a dead baby mouse.
D:
so I dispose of the dead baby mouse, and head back upstairs. Then, on my way up another flight of stairs, something catches my eye.
At the bottom of this staircase is yet another body of a dead baby mouse.
D:
Both of these mice looked young enough that they could possibly have been dead longer than they were ever alive for. And now all I know is that when there's two baby mice, there's probably more. And in this case, they're probably dead, and I have no clue where they would be.
I guess this explains the smell of death I smelled a few weeks ago in the bathroom comin from the vents.

I missed the train, was late... Thought it was another lesson, talked to teacher I thought I had... He said I had history and then I ran to third floor and then it turned out I thought it was the wrong classroom. So I ran down tho the first floor, to the right classroom... And then we had changed classroom so I had to go to the second floor

yep. Even though we can't see em, we think they might be somewhere near our stove, because for the past few weeks our cats have taken to the habit of sitting in front of the stove staring intently at the crack underneath it. So, joy.Azu wrote: Ohmygod D: . I feel really sorry for the baby mice.

The STOVE .__.; . They're at the most important place...? I mean, near the stove means they're in the kitchen which means they can get food easily and etc. . And germs in the kitchen >_> because they need to answer to nature's call/whatever. Lol. So what are you going to do about it?Akonyl wrote:yep. srsly. Anyway, I'm actually the only person in the house until the end of the week, so because it's not actually my house I think I'll just wait till the folks get back and let them decide :VAzu wrote:The STOVE .__.; . Does your cat catches mice?
If they do, I don't know which one is better, lol.

Re: Today's Bad Stories !
if anything, it was probably the cats nabbing the mice and depositing them elsewhere. On the first one, there were two red dots on the side of its neck that make me think one of the cats caught that one at the very least. I'm just surprised they dropped them both off so far away.Azu wrote:There are probably cracks around and the poor baby mice dropped down?Akonyl wrote:srsly. normally, the cats don't catch mice because there aren't any mice to catch, but I would guess they're the type to.

Few months ago, my neighbour's cat brought a hamster back.
Cause she lets her cat roam around the neighbourhood, so her cat went around and caught a hamster, carried it by it's neck and brought it back home. Rofl. Now my neighbour has an extra animal to take care of (because the cat was originally a stray).
I'm pretty sure she's intending to "have fun" with it. :s.
The cats around my neighbourhood are pretty sadistic, I think.
I see a few cats around my neighbourhood, and each time I see one, they're always catching lizard and... "play" with it until it's dead.
And they refuse to give up until they catch it and play with it. Poor lizard. |: .
I guess to catch mice is their natural instinct or something? :s Although it is probably different from those cats that are just used to sitting there and do nothing >_>; .

Re: Today's Bad Stories !
well our cats are indoor cats, but one of them is super energetic and was found by my brother's ex-gf's friend on the side of the road a while ago, so for all I know he still has the outdoor craziness. The other cat was from someone else, and used to be insane until the other cat arrived, but since then she's mellowed out. So, the one cat could most definitely have the instincts to maim small creatures.Azu wrote: I guess to catch mice is their natural instinct or something? :s Although it is probably different from those cats that are just used to sitting there and do nothing >_>; .
