The Heat had that game, even though they kind of played like bollocks for the entire game. D-Wade made some very unadvised shots at the end, all misses, that definitely took them out of it.

The Heat need to win tonight, just to get two more days off before the finals are set to begin. The Spurs are going to be going on what, ten days rest? The way D-Wade is looking out there, he'll be showing up on crutches if this goes on any longer.

There were a few seemingly bad calls (for both sides, maybe slightly favoring Indiana), but Miami just got outplayed for most of the game in my opinion. They shot 26-72, Bosh, Wade, and Allen all had a bad night; it's a miracle it was as close as it actually was.

This is a good series though, I'm glad we get to see a game 7.

Absolutely. Bosh and Wade obviously weren't in attendance last night, but it was pretty clear that the refs weren't giving much of a chance for Miami. LeBron was on a pretty epic tear with nearly 5 minutes left, and that charging foul soundly put them out of contention when it could've kept the momentum in their favor. In both of the last two games that Miami lost, there have been similar calls at very similar times in both games. I'm not saying the refs are doing the same thing they've been doing for the latter half of the season and most of the playoffs, but... the refs are doing the same thing they've been doing for the latter half of the season and most of the playoffs.

I'm not expecting Game 7 to be easy, and actually don't think Miami will win (especially if Bosh and Wade decide they have better things to be doing again). The good news is that the NBA clearly wants a Heat and Spurs finals, as the Spurs will be bringing us record-low ratings again if it's them versus the Pacers. Them versus the Heat, though, would be a great match-up that could also get us to a Game 7 (or a Game 5, at least, with the Spurs likely winning). I'd of course prefer the Heat to win, but LeBron can't play all five positions by himself. Right now, he has two guys sapping up cap room that are being paid to be A+ but are turning in a D+ at best. The ideal team for LeBron would be him surrounded by B+ players, instead of him, those two no-shows, and a motley crew of guys that may as well be the types who get trotted by the Globe Trotters.

The Heat were down by nine and the Pacers had just ended the run, so even if you believe in momentum I'm not sure that is too important. It was a terrible call (and it was hilarious to hear the announcers try to say Hibbert went straight up), but it was one bad call in a game that was won by 14 points. Furthermore, nothing was forcing Lebron to be a gigantic baby and run the length of the floor to get a T. Mistakes happen all the time on block/charge calls, this was a bad call, but it's the kind you see quite often.
