Re: Where we got our usernames

Post by WhiteLady »

My 1st official post... ;D
White Lady is the name I put on my emails' First name and Last name, as well as facebook. (I just don't like using my real name on internet...) So all emails that I sent to my friends & groups showed up as coming from "White Lady", and they started calling me by that name.
My other nickname is miss1n6, came from miss and ing (part of my first name).

Merialle was just a random name that my sister gave to my character in an online game. I always kept on using that name as my username after that since It would be hard if I had a lot of usernames. ;)

I came up with mine back when I was a pokemon fan because my first one screamed 'pokemon fan' and it was drawing a lot of unwanted attention from bullies to me because where I live anime is a very uncommon thing and it is treated like a cartoon for little kids...
Back then, I especially liked Vaporeon and shortened it to Vappy, but it was already taken, so I decided to make it more original by pasting 'Silver' before it to create SilverVappy, and it stuck.

My nickname? It's very typical. This is what you get if you mix a cd with a gal. It is also a pun for a city and a gal. I have used this name since my first msn, for over a decade?

This is what you get if you apply my nick into a math equation: I love listening to music + have more than 30-50 cds + live in a city + and am a girl.

This is the most easiest equation, is it not?

Mine is a pretty simple story, but I will make endless expansion, because its always fun to write a short stroy...

First off... kyuuketsuki means "vampire" in japanese (more specifically 'blood sucker' with inference to being a demon).

Aside from wearing almost all black (which I quickly became known for), I decided one year for Halloween to dress as Lestat from Interview with the Vampire. Someone in my Japanese class noted this and jokingly called me "kyuuketsuki" (apparently learned from Hellsing (big surprise)). My teaching assistant, being as tactful as she was, asked fairly loudly "Ehh, doshite Tomasu-san wa kyuuketsuki desu ka" Naturally the whole class made note of this as my classmate answered "Ah, Tom-kun wa Lestat desu...eto... lestat wa yumei no kyuuketsuki kara eiga desu" The teaching asst, disregarding any mistakes because she made her point said "ahh sou desuka" At which point for the rest of the class I was referred to as "kyuuketsuki" for the duration. My professor heard this, and made it into a joke. And thereafter the name kinda stuck. And I ran with it because it sounds cool.

I just want to note that, that story kyuuketsuki was pretty epic.  Just throwing that out there. haha

Now.. For mine.. Lets see..  Well Btown, it's a bit odd of a story.  I play the game Called WoW, and while one of my characters I use my real name, which starts with a B, one of my buddy's was talking in vent, and started to refer to me as Btown, who knows why, but it stuck.  It's short, simple, and sweet.

**I'd like to use this also as a way to introduce myself to the rest of you on the forums.  I've recently found this site after searching around for Conan eps' and after a while they all kept pointing to DCTP, thus made me curious enough to jump over here and check it out, needless to say I like what I see and plan to stick around and become one of the regulars :)

That made me laugh pretty hard for some reason XD.  As for my name my favorite hockey team is the Penguins, fairly simple to figure out once yoiu know that.  Speaking of which the Penguins had an amazing comeback win tonight >:).

My username is a bit obvious. I'm a huge fan of Shinichi and Ran and then it went into my username. Shinran.

Hey, cool topic. :)

My name actually stands for Conan Crazy Pokemon Power Fan. Buuut I'm thinking of deleting the "pp", as the meaning is so stuuupid.

The funny thing is, my friend likes Pokemon more than Conan, so she's called ppccfan... O.O I hate her.
