Better half = spouse.
She meant Bel, I'd say, but I might be mistaken.

It is COLD! It is too cold to get dressed..... ~_~*

I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

I'm impatiently waiting for some people to come and check out my house. It's a rental and I'm moving to a new place. They're supposed to be here 33 minutes ago.

We do have space heaters, but the one in the bedroom doesn't work well. Hats and scarves are all well and good but don't help one get into one's daytime clothing (ie jeans and sweater). I didn't finish my tea last night, so it was cold when I got up. ~_~* Need more tea.... but now I am at game and can't get anything but no-caffeine soda. ~_~*

OMM: GM is killing us again. Hey, guys, you realize that if I go down nobody gets healed, right? (We don't have a backup healer, which is annoying because I seem to always run out of heals each combat.)

The people that were supposed to come take a look at my house didn't come at all. *middle finger* I pretty much wasted my entire morning cleaning for nothing.
On second thought, my Japanese curry is still cooking and smells yummy.
Also, I'm not going to bed until I finish Virtue's Last Reward.

Back from the mall. We spent quite a bit at Target. ~_~* All stuff for the house, though. I'd forgotten about their yearly stock-up sale, the one they have every January with good prices on stuff you need. We went in for a space-heater to replace the one in the bedroom that doesn't work well. Ended up getting one for the bathroom, which will let us pull the one that was in the bathroom to use in the bedroom.

OMM: The Dean's list for fall 2012 is out, and it says this, "The honor is reserved for students who have completed a minimum of 6 credits and achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale."

Me: \o/ *looks for name*
....
D: wth?! It's not on the list!
Why?!! I got a letter saying that I got a 3.5, and I know completed at least 6 credits. :<<<

So here's a weird twist. My biggest "airport" problem actually happened in Israel, where one of the officers probably got freaked out because of my German accented Hebrew, so she asked me way too many questions and at a certain point it felt like she was doubting me being Jewish (otherwise asking me which holidays I celebrate while in the States is pretty weird). She even wanted my mother to show her driver's license in order to match the information in the passport.

As usual, though, I had no problem entering the UK and the US (though in the latter, the airport people kinda sound like soulless people :-X).

My scariest moment in an airport was in the airport in Mumbai, where all of the security guards were soldiers with assault rifles O_o They're having some major terrorism problems, but it was still really, really intimidating. I'd never been anywhere near such a powerful weapon before.

...Then when the check-in guy asked me to take off my hat for a security photo, and I apologized while taking it off for my hair looking awful because it hadn't been washed or brushed for like a week, the nearest guard with a rifle goes "Do not worry, miss, you still look very nice :)"

That was sweetly awesome XD

They probably are.  I think I'd be soulless if I worked in an airport long enough.
