What's on your mind?

If you have some randomness to share that you can't post elsewhere, this is the place to do it.

Apparently Ke$ha's new song is being banned from radio. Wow, I don't think this has happened in a while, if even in my lifetime.

Also, question: isn't the point of the Amendments to, you know, amend the Constitution? In case it becomes a little outdated in, say, black people being worth 3/5 of white people or the redcoats a-comin'?
The problem is that Americans are in general far less willing to mess with the first 10 amendments, which are collectively called the Bill of Rights. Then again, the gov't doesn't necessarily have this restriction, considering things such as the Patriot Act, NDAA, and similar (which are actually in direct violation of the Fourth through Eighth Amendments).
Not to mention the founding fathers didn't make it easy to pass an amendment in the first place. :-X

So tired. I wasn't made for starting work this early, especially three days in a row. Work waking me up by calling me after I had gone to sleep yesterday didn't exactly help either. And I can not for the love of god remember what they wanted.

I could sorta see her argument if it was Bombur or someone, but it's THORIN, son of Thrain, son of Thror KING UNDER THE MOUNTAIN. How much more noble can you GET?

Damn dad and his girlfriend get too spoiled XD
I want to move to Sweden and learn to make tasty things like that....
It's really simple to make if you're interested, it takes lots of time though :-X
I have time! Although getting ingredients can occasionally be tough, like with the saffron (which is absurdly expensive over here, I paid about $10 (66.81 SEK) for a bit less than a gram (0.8g) last year to make the saffron biscut-cookies). Still any non-exotic ingredients can probably be found without overmuch expense.

You need more whisky
Shouldn't that be specifically Scotch? (whiskey made in Scotland)

They made it possible, though. It can be done, even if it takes time and a LOT of people getting together.

I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

@Miakakiri: Those two things doesn't require any special ingredients. The knäck is just syrup, sugar, cream and almonds. Maybe some butter too, I can't really recall. And marzipan is just basically sugar and almonds. And yeah, saffron is expensive. But then again it does require quite a lot of work to make and just that teeny tiny amount gives so much flavour.

Please tell me it's the one about being young and wild or whatever.  Can't think of the words/title/subject of the song at the moment, but every time it comes on the radio, I want to slap someone.

Ke$ha amuses me, simply because I have no idea who she is besides from seeing parodies of her, never heard a song from her, saw a photo of her, really no idea at all, also the fact that the video parodies of her songs get more views that the actual official song videos :P

On my mind right now... Pokémon. I'm just a step away to completely fill the Black 2 Pokédex... I myself cannot believe it.

Nice! I want to try.... Please?
Although I will have to try it before new year's; the anti-trigger diet I'll be starting on specifies no nuts of any kind. ~_~*

There's no saffron in either of them ;)
I could send the recipes, I suppose you want them in American measurements?

*shrug* If you want. I'm pretty good at doing the conversions myself, and I do have a scale that runs metric. If you take a peek at my blog, you'll note I've done full conversions for metric on the recipes posted.

Yay!! More new things to try! Hmm, do you know what the ball-test stage is called, by any chance? (in case I can get hold of a candy thermometer?) Or is it best to do the ball test to make sure it's at the right point anyway? Also, what IS the correct pronunciation? I look at it and my auto-read gives it a sound like knock except with an a instead of an o, similar to knack. Is that anywhere close? (No idea how to read the a with the dots; I haven't gotten very far yet in trying to learn Swedish, sorry.)
