What's on your mind?

If you have some randomness to share that you can't post elsewhere, this is the place to do it.

I REALLY ought to get some sleep...... ~_~*
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

XD I love seeing how much pie is left. It's maybe 1/6 of the pie?
Considering we made it yesterday, and my piece wasn't very big and I didn't have seconds, makes me wonder who ate the most :P

Now I want to bake pie again, but this is the wrong part of the week to do so, as while Archi and I possibly could eat a whole pie between the two of us, it is not something that we should do.

Also I need to bake a cake for Tuesday, probably chocolate.  I'd like to do a fancy one, but I don't think I have the right equipment. ~_~*

I uploaded an unlisted video (meaning those with the link can watch), I've given the link to 4 people, how come there are 11 views?

Found a copy of A Blink of the Screen in the library, yaaaaaas :D

One the one hand, it's an awesome book and I particularly like Turntables of the Night and Troll Bridge.

On the other hand, I'm depressed because Sir Pterry was clearly millions of times a better writer than me at the age of thirteen and I will never in my entire life be able to write this well.

(Then again, maybe I'm setting my standards too high. Hey, if Twilight could get published...)

Two possibilities.
1) They watched it multiple times
2) They gave the links to others

1) That's possible
2) They know they're not supposed to do that

Reading a piece in the Metro about Louie Gohmert (R-TX) stating that there's no point in more stringent gun laws in the US because "gun laws do not work". He's absolutely right. I mean, just look at all the mass shootings that the UK has suffered since the post-Dunblane gun laws. Oh, wait...

Or look at the number of school shootings Germany has seen! There's Winneden, Erfurt, and... yeah. Winneden and Erfurt1.
And Germany has had, by far, the most school shootings of all European countries (followed by Finland and GB). There is a reason Wikipedia has a separate article for school shootings in the US, while the rest of the world just goes into the main article :x

1Apparently, there were three others, in 1913(::)), 1964 and 1983, but noone really remembers them :x
If  ;), :D, ;D, ::), :P, :-X, :o or >:D are attached, that paragraph may not be 100% serious. Seriously.
This link provides further information.

Scotland's about to bring in stricter licensing laws over air rifles because a child was shot and killed with one. One child dead=stricter laws. In the US, twenty children dead=...the KKK and the WBC getting into a fight over who's crazier.

To be fair, gun laws in the US don't work.  Not because they can't work, but because they don't.  They're poorly written, and no one enforces them.  Furthermore, there's freaking Mexico.

In Sweden you can't have one unless you're in a club and enters at least one competition every year, and you need to renew your license every third year I think
