yeah they have serious money problems which has lead to a bunch of downscaling on their part
That's weird. I mean, I'm no video game freak but shouldn't they have a lot of money because of the Sonic games? Or are those not doing so hot either?
yeah the sonic games tend to do fairly well, but that's not enough to really keep them afloat, they have more game failures than successes
yeah they have the upcoming PSO2 and...
...
...um...
like ok when Namco Bandai has more games I know exist, there's a problem
Maybe they shouldn't have made terrible sequels and ports to any other potential franchise (see: Nights, Samba De Amigo, Golden Axe).
there's also a new sonic game coming out next year that i'm trying not to be cynical about
also i take it you didn't like nights journey of dreams? because if so it's nice to know i'm not alone on that
never played the original, the Wii version...was mediocre at best. Like I never got that into the main Nights gameplay in this version, but it wasn't bad. The other missions were far more boring and it had a luck based boss at world 2 that when you died caused you to have to start at the beginning of the entire world. Oddly the only thing I really liked beyond some music was exploring the areas as the kid. Sadly only the small overworld gives you a chance or actually encourages exploring and the giant levels start you as the kid for no reason and you'll die before you can explore anything so you have to start the missions.
I never beat it but the voice acting and story were really bad, and not in a particularly enjoyable way either.
Samba De Amigo's Wii port needs to die though. Whoever screwed up the controls to one of my favorite rhythm games should be ASHAMED. And one of the developers was whining that Wii controls are too hard to use for a port of a 2000 game. hype that guy.
I was wondering if Sega had any merit to their case because sometimes stupid sounding lawsuits do have somewhat legally sane motivations behind them that go unheard in the popular news. This case does seem to be foolish and grounds-less after all. I think Level 5 stands a good chance of winning, but it sucks about the court costs and the time.
