Package A: Seven of the eight users will become beneficiaries. All seven will have their token count reduced to 1, no matter the original amount. The remaining user chosen at random will be given +60 tokens as the cost.
Package B: Seven of the eight users will become beneficiaries. All seven will have their token count reduced by -1, but will be unable to go below a total of 1 (essentially, they may not reach "0"). The remaining user chosen at random will be given +10 tokens as the cost.

There’s always at least one person that gets screwed over.

It is accurate, as stated. All relative instances have been written precisely the same way. In all pertinent passages, I've used "+X" and "-X" extensively. I thought it was obvious, but it was never meant to be read as "negative 1" as you're doing now. Including "-" makes it immediately identifiable for anyone reading it (including you in your initial reads, apparently) that it is a result that means "1 token less" despite any assumptions on your part as to what the surrounding words may make it mean in general terms.

Well, to be honest, I haven’t really read most of the propositions, only the results. Mainly because I don’t see the point in reading all the limitations, possible choices & penalties, and so on, for things that are already over and I didn’t even have anything to do with. But what you said does make sense.
