Dear Game Stop,

Please teach your store employees the difference between a PSP charge cord and a USB port cable. Apparently none of those under your employ are aware of the fact that a charge cable can't be used to plug a PSP into a computer.

Sincerely,
Suutashi

As long as it's a Weird Story and not a Bad Story, we don't need to worry that you might get into a depression :P
I got a rare A, so it's just weird instead of bad XD

Random guy was hitting on me yesterday, I looked like an extremely fat hobo, clearly the power of beer-goggles are way more powerful than I thought. (Though I clearly need to be less friendly and not answer when strangers talk to me, especially in the middle of the night. It's just that I feel so rude when doing so, turning the guy down made me feel rude too D: Obviously there is something wrong with me.)

There's nothing wrong with you, you're just a really nice person. :)

But yes, you do need to be more careful about who you talk to, especially in the middle of the night, I think.

PT's adventures in downloading M11:

Megaupload link --> not working
Rapidshare link --> not working the first time
Rapidshare link --> worked just fine the second, but it's gonna take 8 hours to download, so I left it up overnight

Come back in the morning and it says the movie is finished downloading. I open up the file and it's 35 minutes long. o.O

Okay, scratch Rapidshare, too tired to figure that one out. Move on to Mediafire links.

All four parts download in about an hour (simultaneous downloads yay!)

I got to move them all to the same folder and it's giving me a message that there are multiple files with the same name, so I tell it to keep both files and I figure once I get everything sorted, I'll rename them so they're in order.

So when I get to that part of them, I open up the first one, it starts the opening logo screen --> first part. I skip to the end of the video to see what's going on, so I know what to look for in part two... and it's closing credits.

.....wtf?

I check the time on the video and it's 1 hour and 46 minutes.

Apparently somewhere along the way, the files combined themselves into one whole video. Without me doing anything.

So now I have 4 copies of M11.

o.O

I'm just gonna hope that the movie works all the way through and let it go, but I'm a little weirded out right now.

my guess would be (if you downloaded from SPIDER's topic) that because they have the correct winrar ".part#.rar" name format, when you extracted each archive, it autodetected each of the other archives. So when you thought each rar was only extracting itself, it was extracting itself + the three other part files, hence you getting the "multiple files with the same name" error because you just extracted the movie four times.

also why are you watching M11 :V

Yeah, I'm guessing that's what probably happened, just haven't experienced that before haha. :P

And I'm watching it because I haven't seen it yet. :P

I think my improvisation class' exercises on getting in touch with your inner child are working too well. I was amused for a good half hour by a little wooden doll that waved its arms and legs when you pull the string, and this was before we cracked open the wine.

I just realised the weirdest thing. How could I not see it? Or well, it isn't that surprising :-X But the actual thing really is.

Don't know if this is weird or what, but some people rode horses into the local Safeway last night.
