What video games are you currently playing?

If you have some randomness to share that you can't post elsewhere, this is the place to do it.

Let's see...
Left 4 Dead 2, Arkham Asylum, VC Blaster Master, VC Kirby's Dreamland 3, The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Dead Space Extraction. And I haven't even started Brutal Legend or that new Final Fantasy Wii game I got.
Let's Play Bioshock Infinite: https://forums.dctp.ws/viewtopic.php?f= ... 94#p879594

DS: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky
PC: Touhou Project 12: Undefined Fantastic Object
I highly recommend Touhou for people who like vertical shooting games. And games that are full of girls and no boys.
N64: Banjo-Kazooie
I want Banjo-Tooie...D:

oh so it's out? I completely forgot about it (blame the college). I don't know though if I have the time. Maybe in the summer I'll try to get to it.

edit: then again, it took me long enough to stop being addict to these games so maybe I shouldn't start playing in this one.
the summer? that's a long time.  But yeah, it's a great game, I expect nothing less from RPG-gods Bioware.

Batman: AA is freaking awesome, it was probably my second fave game of 2009.  Batman animated series + stealth/action game = win.

Left 4 Dead 2...I'm probably going to jack that off a friend; I had the first and it didn't seem like the 2nd was a 60$ purchase, I was a bit disappointed in Valve with it releasing the sequel in a year.

Brutal Legend...I loved the demo, but I heard from a lot of people that the game is nothing like it.  Apparently, midway through the game, it changes from an action adventure to a console RTS game.  ;__;

Are you going to get ME2, slider...or Splinter Cell Conviction?

K-Kanji? Um...OK... Well I guess my first bit of advice if you keep getting killed by the boss of the second dungeon would be to suggest you play on Easy. (Both my playthroughs are on easy; mostly it keeps the occasional lucky shot from erasing hours of effort.) Aside from that....Make sure you're going into the fight fully healed, even if that means leaving the TV and going back in on another day so that your party is at full HP and SP. Let's see... (this fight was a long time ago for me and I didn't have much/any trouble with it) Specifics follow:
Spoiler:
The shadow's buddies are called "Nice Guy" and "Tough Guy" if I remember correctly...."Nice Guy" does buffs. "Tough Guy" hits you hard with physical--you should probably try to bring along something that has resist physical for your MC. (Slime will pick up Resist Physical as a skill that can be passed on. It's the last skill that one learns, and I don't recall what level, but you should be able to have it by that point.) That'll cut down a little on how much damage he can do. "Tough Guy" will also EAT physical attacks, so save your SP to whack him with magic later. Take "Nice Guy" out first, because he will buff the others. Focus your attacks on him (and cast Dekaja on "Tough Guy" every time he gets buffed) and the fight will get a LOT easier once he goes down. Don't bother buffing your party up until you take out Tough Guy, because he also has Dekaja and will use it on you every time you buff your party. You have to hit him with magic, because he'll just absorb physical blows. Once Tough Guy goes down, the real fight begins (I'm guessing this is probably where you keep getting killed). EVERY TIME Kanji uses Power Charge, have everyone defend, because his next attack is going to be a heavy-damage multi-target physical attack. Buff yourself up and try to keep everyone as close to full health as you can. If you're still stuck try checking gamefaqs.com. Specifically the P4 boss faq: http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/945498/55505
Hope that helps! *^_^*
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

I like Mario Kart and Guitar Hero but I only really play them when I've got friends over... just finished replaying Zelda: Twilight Princess... At the moment I'm kind of just trying to beat my high score in Tetris (252 lines!) and I went back to finish the Pokedex in Pokemon FireRed... I've got about 202... I really want Pokemon HeartGold and the third Professor Layton game. WHEN WILL THEY BE RELEASED???

If none of that helps, go level up a bit. You should probably be getting close to level 30. My usual solution to "This boss is REALLY hard!" is to go build levels for a bit (maybe as much as 5 levels, depending on how early in the fight I start having trouble). Keep trying (avail yourself of the save point right outside the boss' chamber) and every time he kills you reload and go kill stuff again (which should also give you enough money to pay the fox to give you back your SP....) to get stronger.

Probably has to do with the fact that the plot is one of the most blatantly stupid things of all time. For such a badass game, it really had a horrible plot.

Way too many games to play + Finals + no Wii for VC + not a huge fan of retro games.

AI bots in L4d2 are dumb as f.  Coach basically screwed me and my friend over during a finale.  Good thing I didnt buy this for 60$ for basically the SAME DAMN GAME a year ago.
