Well, my experience of the DC fandom is this forum, while the only other fandoms that I've ever gotten involved with are Star Wars and Pokemon and both have way more acid-spitting numbskulls, so I'll give this a 9.

With DCTP and DCW being the most major places for English-speaking and (to a certain degree) other international fans, this fandom seems pretty decent (besides the couples stuff this forum experienced and a few oddities). However, I'm not so sure about other places, especially in other international forums (someone once noted that couple talks are forbidden in some Chinese forums because they always get into flame wars)
