3 if we're just talking about the language. It's not that easy, with its common irregular conjugations and declinations.
2 if we also account for writing it. German orthography is really easy :x
If  ;), :D, ;D, ::), :P, :-X, :o or >:D are attached, that paragraph may not be 100% serious. Seriously.

Say what? German grammar is quite the mouthful you know. And all those der, die, das D:

Here people usually say that when it comes to French, German and Spanish then French is hardest to pronounce, German has the worst grammar and Spanish is both easy to pronounce and has simple grammar.

Compared to Finnish etc., it's still easy :x
