That little kid crying over his dad gets me every time. I liked this MK case the best out of all the "old" ones.

We actually had to slightly modify a line in the subtitles to match the animation as opposed to exactly what was being said. The dialogue actually mentions that the dust should've come up much higher. However, since the animation shows crystal-clear water instead, we tweaked it to 'water marks', which works with the same idea without directly contradicting the animation.

(I know that's Kid and he could just be lying, but you can see something in the manga, so I'm calling this an animation error too).

Still, anybody else still annoyed by the Conan cameos? It's the same shit we've gotten in the past several MK episodes. At least go back to the way it was and make it kind of clever. Having him smile like a serial killer with glare on his glasses always seems so out of character for him, too.

@Puto - I'll have to put that in manga to anime changes.

The manga also made it sound like the water had a funny color too.

The colour thing might just be a translation mistake (the old scanlations have plenty of those).

EDIT: Okay, it's not a translation error, it's a real change.

Easily one of my favorite MK episodes.

The position of the glasses is screwed up too.

I used to like the cameos in the early episodes, sometimes i wouldn't even notice when conan and the DB's appeared. Now it's just creepy.

Yeah Conan was just off doing his own things like the one you mentioned, or when I think the cameo was Kid dressed like him, or in Blue Birthday when he was just looking out the window to see what the commotion was all about. Now he's just a stalker with the creepiest look on his face.
