That was a translation error. It's just plain old organization I am pretty sure.

There isn't a single instance of the word 'black' in the entire script to Magic Kaito 8.

@D: If you watched the Hubuki Sub, delete it and get the ML version.

The Hubuki subs are very sloppy and full of mistakes and missing lines.

The episode was basicly a 1:1 adaption of the manga version.

Oh, thanks. I know its not the Black Org in Conan; that's why i was suprised.

The only really new thing was Hakuba reading the news magazine about Spider's european tour and that Kid is save for the moment.

They are? Damn. Because I don't download, I always end up watching Habuki's subs.

Didn't like this episode as much. Thought that Hakuba would have a greater role, I do love the fact though that he thinks Akako is attractive.

Also, may I just be the first to say that the animation this episode was horrid? I mean, I don't pay much attention to it usually, but there were so many derpy and off faces...

It still looked better than basically any episode of Conan ever. :p

I loved this story in the manga. It's just a really great, solid story that does everything right. I don't have much to add to that.

Probably because Conan's animated at 540p resolution and Magic Kaito's actually animated in HD. I guess since they don't do Magic Kaito episodes that often, they can afford to actually do them in HD...

That's disappointing. I thought they were going to introduce a new character, lol.

Then again, the whole idea plays out like a fan character, so maybe that's for the best.

Anyway, I laughed at Conan's cameo when he was looking at the movie poster for a Dark Knight rip-off.

Is it just me or was that the same animation from his cameo episode 7 just a smaller bit of it?

Did you notice that the article Hakuba is reading supposedly about spider is actually an article about  kids at Fukushima Prefecture and their thyroid?
