In the end of epi5 the "MK-Anokata" contacted a member called "spider", but am I worng, or isn't that one in the organization? Is MK going to do Anime-Originals?

Maybe they're paving the way for an anime original ending (since the manga doesn't have one).

Have episodes 4 and 5 been subbed? I haven't seen them around at all.

i don't think anyone else out there would bother to sub them in English.  No wait saw something for 4 on Youtube but the spelling is really bad.  We'll have to wait.

I guess they're going that direction.  If they weren't planning on doing any more they wouldn't have included that extra bit.  Spider is the illusionist Gruner von Goldberg...if I remember the name right.  So I guess next Kid episode (whenever it is) is going to be a showdown between Kid and Spider.

This is the first mention of Spider, so he's not part of the DC-Organization as far as I can tell.  It seems the anime staff is going in the direction that the MK-Organization's members are named after animals.  (Hence the names so far: Snake, Jackal (Snake's name in OVA 4), and Spider.)

They don't have a whole lot of choice besides doing anime originals if they want to do an actual series instead of just adapting the existing chapters of the manga. Given the recent quality of the DC anime originals, I'm kind of apprehensive, but hey, if that's what they decide, it's more MK.

I wonder if actual organizations have themes for the names of their members.

Hmm so they're ending it with an AO? Or I wonder if this was a suggestion from Gosho? The MK ep1 foreshadowed Phantom Lady didn't it? (In the sense that she was drawn to have the same hair and stuff)

I thought they were going to do the Hakuba file next

when I looked at the raw and saw the end of MK special 5...I was like "spider-named dude going against phantom thief? sounds familiar..." I couldn't place it until I remembered... but oh well...I'm still hoping that the next MK special includes Hakuba...
Could someone sub those MK specials?
it's kinda hard to watch them RAW with only memory helping what they say there and there in the manga version...

there the main hero battles against dude who is killer and whom uses threads like spider to control and kill people...his codename was One but I think of him as spider...

I got a feeling this plot is going to be based on notes or directions from Gosho, since based on the Phantom Lady chapter he either approved of the Anime Kid (Kaito's mom's redesign) or he was the one who supplied said imagining of his mother. In either case it's likely that whatever the anime team is doing is probably going to be the only continuation of the series we ever get.

So I'm pretty thrilled about seeing this Spider guy.

On the other hand, it will probably put an end to any hope that Kid's organization troubles would be linked with the BO, but I can live with that.

I'm worried about him replacing Hakuba totally or something.
